这句话你是直译的所以读起来很别扭。地道的英文应该象如下表达（注意much less generous 也可以换成stricter)
School of Management is widely known for its rigorous education in TAMU. As a result, grading standards for most courses are much less generous than those of counterparts in other universities.
Firstly, the School of Management is considered as the best school (建议把school换成换为其他单词 例如program, college之类的，因为school本句话初始已经用过了) in TAMU, therefore the majority of courses were based on a rigorously grading system. (后面最好加解释如何rigorous 不然很vague)
